Twenty-three birders joined me today at Greynolds Park in North Miami Beach. We had to deal with a quick rain shower early on, then hot and muggy conditions afterwards. Thirty-two species were tallied; highlights included Yellow-crowned Night-Heron, Pileated Woodpecker, Gray Kingbird, Red-eyed Vireo and six warbler species, including both Louisiana and Northern Waterthrush.
